Chronology:  2003-2005

January 1, 2003:  Assisted with “Pancakes for Peace,” an annual fundraiser at the First Unitarian Church, Boulder, Colorado, contributing to peace and social justice related organizations.

January 20, 2003:  Participated in the annual Martin Luther King Marade, Denver, Colorado, and is interviewed by three different television production crews, emphasizing as always, “a person is a person is a person and if the only things upon which we can all agree are non-violence and mutual respect, everything else will fall into place.  The harmonious integration of diversity makes us strong; societal homogeneity makes us weak.”

March 15-16, 2003:  Volunteer staff at the Saint Patty’s Metaphysical Celebration at the Denver Merchandise Mart, produced by Celebration Productions, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

June 22, 2003:  Participated in the annual Gay Pride Parade, Denver, Colorado.

August 3, 2003:  Climbed in full ritual garb and face-paint to the summit of Mount Belford (14,197’) and Mount Oxford (14,153’), returning home by an additional ascent of Mount Belford, in central Colorado.

August 10, 2003:  Visited the Sunday morning service of a church called “The Journey,” in response to an invitation from a member of the congregation, and was well-received.  

October 18, 2003:  Participated and assisted with a Pagan Samhain celebration in Deckers, Colorado.

October 25, 2003:  Participated in a gathering of approximately 100,000 people at the Washington Monument in Washington, DC, calling for an end to the US military occupation of Iraq, striving to encourage an intelligent and collaborative rather than violent and intrusive response to Middle Eastern circumstances.  

January 19, 2004:  Participated in the annual Martin Luther King Marade, Denver, Colorado, in support if Dr. King’s dream of the establishment of a diverse and mutually respectful global community characterized by non-violence.

June 6, 2004:  Attended the annual People’s Fair, Denver, Colorado.

June 9, 2004:  Attended the weekly gathering of the Dance of Universal Peace, Denver, Colorado.

June 12, 2004:  Volunteer staff at a Pagan Family Picnic organized by the Colorado Pagan Community Circle and the Wheat Ridge Alliance for Political Parody.

June 26, 2004:  Volunteer staff at the annual 5K Rainbow Run and Walk, organized by Team Colorado and Denver FrontRunners, City Park, Denver, Colorado: also participated in the concluding “Drag Race.”

June 27, 2004:  Volunteer staff for the annual Pride parade, Denver, Colorado.  

July 9-11, 2004:  Volunteer staff assigned to security duties for the Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo, locally facilitated by the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association, Lakewood, Colorado.

July 16, 2004:  A second attempt to reach the summit of Mount Massive in central Colorado, is unsuccessful due to adversarial weather.

August 13, 2004:  Successfully climbed in full ritual garb and face-paint to the summit of Mount Massive (14,421’) in central Colorado.  

August 22, 2004:  Volunteer staff at the annual AIDS walk fundraiser, beginning and ending in Cheesman Park, Denver, Colorado.

August 28, 2004:  Volunteer staff for the annual Pagan Pride celebration, Deckers, Colorado.

September 27, 2004:  A day-long photo shoot at various locations along the Peak to Peak highway, south of Estes Park, Colorado, produces numerous photos to be used within calendars, greetings cards, and so forth.

October 18, 2004:  A day-long photo shoot at various locations within the metropolitan area of Denver, Colorado, produces numerous photos to be used within calendars, greeting cards, and so forth.

October 23, 2004:  Volunteer staff at the annual Samhain Witches’ Ball, held at a Masonic temple, Denver, Colorado.

November 13, 2004:  Video production of “The Sister Who Holiday Special,” an hour-long interfaith program integrating Christian, Pagan, Earth Literacy, and Native American spiritual perspectives.

January 1, 2005:  Assisted with an annual fundraiser entitled, “Pancakes for Peace,” at the First Unitarian Church, Boulder, Colorado.

March 19, 2005:  A day-long photo shoot at cross-country skiing location south of Copper Mountain ski resort in western Colorado produces numerous photos to be used within calendars, greeting cards, and so forth.

May 1, 2005:  Participated in a protest facilitated by SoulForce, Colorado Springs, Colorado, including delivery of more than 800 letters documenting suicides by non-heterosexual people, due to oppressive theology.  

May 15, 2005:  Presented the sermon at Cameron United Methodist Church, Denver, Colorado, weaving together insights and metaphors of Pentecost, entitled, “The Coming of the Spirit.”

June 25-26, 2005:  Volunteer staff for the annual Pridefest celebration, Denver, Colorado, commemorating the Stonewall Riots of 1969.

August 5, 2005:  An attempt to reach the summits of Mount Shavano and Mount Tabeguache in central Colorado is unsuccessful due to adversarial weather.

August 21, 2005:  Volunteer staff at the annual AIDS walk fundraiser, beginning and ending in Cheesman Park, Denver, Colorado.
